Thursday, June 04, 2009Only royalties celebrate birthdays week long....besides my dear zhi i guess. Its her 21st this week, and...21st are meant to be special!! Planning started way back, as her friends and i planned a 'Pink-Dazzled" surprise party for her!!hee.. 26thMay09:With the help of my good friend from CDO, weisiong aka puipui (who's a dedicated pastry chef by profession!!) i managed to bake dear zhi's all time favourite cake~Mango Mousse Cake!! Puipui spent his rest time after work with me, buying the ingredients and baking the cake from scratch...while the steps can be easily followed alot of skill is needed at times too. After 2 late nights and much mess in his kitchen...i brought home the precious Mango mousse cake, very much anticipating the taste as well!!haha  28thMay09:Told dear zhi, we'll be going for dinner. Met her at TeaParty over at 6th AVE...there was quite a scare as some of her friends reached like 2min b4 she did!!haha.As she climbed up the stairs....Surprise!!!Her best friends were all gathered, and dressed in pink(her fav colour!)haha. We had dinner and played some games and took photos before the staff brought up the cake and we sang her the birthday song!! Glad she liked the cake, and her friends found it nice too....tho they didnt finish the cake!!haha, i love it tho...unlike cooking a meal, cakes are more satisfying after u bake em!!Party was fun!  After dinner, i sent dear zhi home...where the 2nd surprise of the day lay in her room!!Her friends came earlier in the day, and decorated her room with pink balloons and a frame with their wishes!sweet.And on her bed..i got her a Top she'd reali liked and wanted for quite awhile!Happy girl she was!!=) 30thMay09:It's our day out for her Bday coz shes working on the actual. We drove down to Rider's Cafe! Delicious Pancakes for me, while she had Eggs Benedict..both looked as great as they taste!!It was a beautiful place, watching the horses trottle pass, trainers training them..and us walking down the roads with a countryside feel...nice=)be back for sure...  In the afternoon, we head down to Sentosa..despite the initially worrying weather!!It pays to be optimistic rite?hee...We went to take the Luge ride and Sky ride!Both of us nv tried before..a little too short for me, but i yea, it was fun!!There should haf this at Bukit timah hill or NTU or something..ahah..so many hills!!hee.. After that, we had drinks at Cafe Del Mar. Decided not to soak up the sun on the sunbeds,so we sat in the shelters with better chairs and ambience...and too bad we din bring clothes if not we'd try the pool bar!!haha.Oh, their Nachos are like the best ive eaten!! With 3 different sauce,red,green,yellow!!haha..cool.We hang out for quite awhile..before we went for another Luge ride and the Animal Show at Palawan beach!!hee The animal show wasnt bad at all with all the animals within touching distance!!haha, and when they asked for a brave volunteer...i raised Dear zhi's hands.And sure enough, she got chosen!haha. In the end, the keepers brought out a humogous yellow python and asked her to lug it around her!!Haha..yea, at the moment i was just as scared as she was,if not more. worrying coz she'll prob NOT go out with me anymore!!haha...but the keepers were nice, just made her touch it a little..heee..lucky!Dinner was at Mussel Guys @ Vivo!Wasnt too great, the food...but we sat alfresco, and we love alfresco!!  4thjune09:1210am. Called Dear zhi down her block....sparklers, a card, present and a birthday song for dear! Got her a Sovil Titus watch, black strapped and classy...just as she wanted!ha, hope u like it!=)And hope ya 21st celebrationssssss is as special as you are to me...love ya loads.
