wHat is A good Student??

i am a bad student. ive said that before..haha..well, just completed my maths paper, and to be honest i am rather disappointed. Disappointed becoz i it was the most confident paper in the exam, disappointed becoz i really could have done better,,,for a moment i like couldnt rem what ive practiced and learnt...though i know i wouldnt do that badly..i could have done so much better.....

This sem, ive set out to do much better than before...with a greater goal in mind, i thought ive put in enough effort to do well(like mostly As and stuff..ha)but paper after paper..i keep getting a reality check. It seems the toughness of the paper and my inability to complete them is just not reciprocating my self-proclaimed efforts...and it gets to the point when i really wonder if im cut out to be a graduate or am i a good student?...haha..now it starts to sound serious huh??no, im not gonna quit school..nobody in the right mind should. Curz it wasnt until NTU did i realise i havent been studying for the past 7-8 years of school...yea,i did go to school and stuff but to really study and prepare for my exams...lets just say i was doodling most of the time..haha..sometimes i think i put in more effort in sports than studies...

But does grades define a good student...curz today right after the papers..while the papers were collected, my friend turned to me and showed me a note on his paper...." the guy on my right was copying from a piece of paper"....he asked me if he should inform the invigilator...its still the first time that ive came across cheating in uni curz most of us are grown ups already( well at least physically some ppl obviously lack maturity)..we didnt eventually, cuz my friend was too hesistant. So that Indian guy( im not a racist ) got away scot-free..he may eventually get good grades...while i may only be average...so...does that make him a good student???

well, a good student i may not be..a good friend i am for sure...my friend got the timing our paper today wrong luckily i called him 20 mins before...if not he wld have missed it totally...haha...

Ha, no this is not a recent photo, it was during our SMU soccer competition much earlier and im not feeling nostalgic or anything although i am missing soccer..haha!! Was telling my sis about Dee-jays and stuff when i remembered this photo..curz the one behind the camara, responsible for this great looking photo is actually Vernetta Lopez(hope i got her name correct)!!haha..

We were looking for people to help us take a group photo when we saw a couple so detong (i think) approached the lady....she agreed readily, so while we were gaying around we sorta realise HEY, thats Vernetta..haha..it must have been weird for her curz chances of people approaching her for a photo but w/o her in it wld have been quite unusual..haha..though shes not exactly a star but very least a cool dee-jay!!haha..and the funnie thing is we din even ask for a photo with her after all..haha...but im sure she wun mind since she wasnt wearin anything glamorous too..hehe...

oH well, exam spells are here for another grueling week...2 more papers, while some may have ended already and some(NUS ) just started...its been really torturing as u hope time past slowly so that u have more time to ace the papers yet wish all these will end asap!!wat the heck....realise ive got lotsa catching up with my friends during the hols!!yeap...good luck to all still or going to have exams...to all that finished: be nice dun taunt me!!hhaha..

Altitude -1(Det)

That was at Ryan's birthday celebration which was held at Pitch Black down @ Haji Lane which is literally nothing else but a small dark lane..haha...michael and john was still complaining how come such insignificant and "ULU" place exist, but its really not la...its just too cool for us,haha.
Its funny how we use to always try so hard to coordinate our 'costumes' when performing, and more often than not, end up looking all mixed up and stuff...yet this time when we din even try and look so much like a band!haha...the party was nice, lotsa beautiful people.......ok, lotsa beautiful babes i mean..haha,anw..but it was right smack in the middle of my exams, but there should be no excuse missing my best friend's party.haha....okok,i needed the break too!!

Det and the rest left rather early, i had wanted to leave too.......but thought it'll be quite bad having john and mike left at the party and ryan not having representatives from the guys during cake-cutting...so i decided to be a bad student..haha.. Well, we pretty much had nothing to do since the only one left that we knew or could talk to was Geri...so john and I ended up trying to be childish kids! We tried to match make michael and ryan's friend..haha..it was so comical..seeing mike trying hard to protect himself from being disgraced!!!haha..

Well, the night ended with mike and I being waiters distributing the cakes to the people before we left the party while the night was still young..guess we all werent that much in the party mood also..ha.....

Half my exams are gone...and all the papers i took were sooo much harder compared to past years...urgh...i hope i can do moderately well...told u i was a bad student!!haha..

i need some soccer....
