I look at my earlier posts, slacking away going to kuishinbo buffet and all..life's certainly changed quite abit. Ive successfully and luckily found a job, an internship actually and its at the Resort World!!yea, the coolness stuck with me quite a few days too...until i had to wake up every morning at 7 and work 5 days a week...argh.weekends suddenly become so important and yet Short..
I guess we're creatures who never get satisfied easily and content with what we have. When we have one, we ask for others and it keeps going on. When i was slacking, i wanted a job...now that i have one...i wished i could wake up when its time for lunch.haha.
Its been a busy busy week, lots to update...but not yet.haha. in the mean time, im going to get ready for work tml...yawnz..

Results are out, i improved(a lil bit) but overall standings still not good.
Its a case of effort put it but only mediocre results shown, i wouldnt say im sad about my results...but im sad that despite time and brains were already invested, it seem ive only moved 1 inch more. Its not encouraging, not at all.
Maybe you will tell me, improvement is good enough..but from shit to less shit is still shit rite.
or maybe theres always next sem...but i only have 2 left, and i have to do excellent to make a difference.
Maybe i should start studyin for the next sem now, maybe results are not really that important....maybe, im just bluffing myself.

Friday night it was, and we met with dear zhi's best friend qingyu and bf + qingyu's sis + bf for some prawn action!!
We headed down to bishan park only to find thousands of rods already sticking into the pond, not the perfect scene we've had in mind...disappointed but we were not ready to go home just yet, so we went all the way back to jurong bird park prawning area!
It was my first time down there, quite a fair bit of people too...so we started parwning. This friendly guy came over to teach me how to measure the depth of rod and adjustments and taught me how to catch the prawns...even threw a few prawns into the net. nice chap whom we realise subsequently that he's actually 1 of the operators!..ha, maybe he was trying to waste my prawning time, holding me back with all that lessons...wahaha..juz jkg!
Results this time round was bad, quite a bad place to prawn actually...hardly even had bites on our baits need less to say we din have much to eat in the end. But i guess im getting better at detecting the prawns and hopefully the next time at bishan will bring back better results!!And it was fun and more challenging curz we had a mini competition going on between the 3 couples..haha.By the time we finished it was 3am, and somehow i didnt quite feel like going to bed already, think qingyu also..haha. I suggested we go east coast park and watch sun rise!haha...but it didnt happen, we're not crazy enough i guess.It was fun nonetheless:)

dear zhi's found a job,so happy for her..but im still stuck!!!been sending out resumes everday and faithfully went on to check on any new jobs available every half hour! Even decided to take up warehouse jobs, which i dont really like...still no news!Haiz... Time's running out...reservist's coming....time's slipping away...ryan's leaving for europe tonight, det's goin viet tomorrow, mike's at shanghai, jav n james n marv's all on intern, Jean's in aussie, sinli n cb in virginia.how nice.

It was Ma Ma Day last weekend, a time when it gets awkward waking up on sunday becoz ure suppose to give ya mom a hug and say Happy mother's day. ha, how many of us does that?huh...ha
But appreciation must still be shown, so i took up the ladles and pans to whip up a Thai themed meal for my mom(and family of curz).And of curz..there's dear zhi who helped me with lotsa ideas of dishes and recipes to cook...but disappeared when its down to the tasks!!haha...juz jkg:p
Cooked Green curry, fried tofu,pineapple rice and chilli kang kong oh n refreshing coconut. My mom was obviously delighted, couldn't believe how i manage to cook all tht. but it didnt all taste good also..haha, the green curry turned out too authentic for our liking,as such much was left over.haha..but ok, at least i tried. But thats quite a lot of cooking at one go for me, it'll be some time before i go in the kitchen again!ha..

When was the last time u skated huh?
Now that Singapore has only 1 skating ring left and its located soo inconveniently far...i guess we hardly ice-skate anymore...
But the GIP ppl, well a few of us..ha, is so desperate to relive the old days...we gathered to go ice skating again. An outing of slightly more than 10 dwindled to only 6 attendees, well at least theres 6...gone were the days where u can hang ard outside the ring to watch ppl skate, it'll cost $3 just to enter to watch.yea.sux.
My greatest motivation that day was probably to prove that i dont skate like a DUCK!!!but i admit im really bad at it, didnt invest enough at the skating ring during my days hanging out at JEC.(maybe no girls to go with was the main reason!!haha)
So it was fun tryin to improve my skating and all of us teaching Wenhao how to skate.not bad i guess...

Anw, my status right now is SADLY UNEMPLOYED! And my job hunting is not proving to have any results at all...at this rate, its worrying. hope for the best!!

Was treated to Kuishinbo on tuesday by dear zhi....had a lot a lot of good food and what else..sashimi!! We were there for 2 hour plus...eating non stop. haha. Its been awhile since i had buffet and i guess it'll be awhile before i'll crave for more as i ate so much i couldnt eat til the next morning!!Oh and it was my first time there...and i thot its much better than Sakura coz i din feel like i gorged down on alot of low quality food, most of it were quite exquisite. The desserts looked realli good, turns out ok only(maybe we were too full alr) but the chocolate fondue was fabulous.

Have been slacking around for the past few days and its gettin boring i guess...the guy's are going to end their exams real soon but ryan will be leaving, jav and marv have interns and mike's going back to shanghai already. Darn....whats going to happen to soccer! Tgl's also 'breaking' up...cb and sl's going for US work & travel(better be careful ok!) while jean's in aussie already.

All that eating and lack of exercise during the exam has really put me in a bad shape...its time to hit the gym and soccer courts!!

It was no special occasion, but i do owe my dear zhi a nice date for our 4th month. So i planned a picnic with her under then sunset, by the sea...our favourite setting. Beautiful it was, juz as the lady herself...we sat by the sea, waved at the passing boats and had our salad and Rice Rolls!!

Took a bus down before we took a nice walk to the place...sitting on the bench, taking in the salty air with dear zhi by my side...its been quite awhile since i could sit down and really breathe. Since mid-sem, all we've done was sit at the table and read the books...and a nice date has long been overdued, im glad i exchanged the initial plan of going there late and just chill to a simple yet beautiful picnic...The rice rolls this time, was much better,80 marks!!haha...we're getting closer to perfecting it.well, dinner was good, view was amazing and most importantly you enjoyed it....=)

Finally, the exams are over...i didnt reali end with a bang, curz the last paper was super duper hard!but im reali glad the sem's over and i can say that ive done my part...and am proud of it

Its now that i suddenly realise i havent had slack days at home, didnt reali watched tv, went out and hand around the malls..since a long long time.hahas,so much so that going out and taking the train seemed a rather refreshing experience..hows that.haha...

dear zhi went to school with me for my last paper...how nice, oh and she made me cinnamon french toast bread which reali tasted nice dear, trust me. The day earlier i also got tasty bread wraps from her for dinner...sweet=)
So after my paper, we headed down to town...went to Saizeriya @ Liang Court. Its a Jap-Italian restaurant.dear zhi's good friend qingyu recommended to us....

Hamburg Steak($7+!!)

We shared a salad, minestrone soup, the steak and a baked rice...and they all tasted not bad. Isnt fantastic though...but its relatively cheap so its considered value for money alr. didnt stuffed ourself too much curz popcorns' comin up...haha. After lunch we had a nice walk around the empty Clark Quay checking out the interesting pubs that line the sidewalks...never reali walked in before, it was fun checking out C clinic and some of the cool clubs!!yea

Decided to watch 17 Again over Taken for a a good laugh and lighthearted feel...ha, didnt reali laugh much in the end, but it wasnt too bad a film...oh and it was at the cinema that i realised i left my Matriculation card at the exam hall!!darn, almost didnt get to watch at Student Price, lucky for me, i found my Ezlink card and also thanks to the nice staff who helped me out coz shes already issued the normal tix..so friendly.

We den went to shop abit(though we're not reali suppose to) haha...before we headed home surprisingly tired already!!haha...i guess we've been reali over working outselves, curz a simple date like this was more enjoyable than i thot it would be,or was it juz the company=)

Soccer is resuming real soon....looking forward to seeing the guys again!!
