zl's back from HK!! The first thing we did was Kiting(ya,again) at the barrage!! haha...still very excited about the new kite i guess. Was there early to avoid the afternoon sun, but what greeted us was a sign that says " public is advised not to fly kites...due to YOG canoing and sailing"...yea, quite a few ppl were bemused by the signage...because we don't see how kites can affect the sailers!!maybe its a form of distraction??haha

Anw the wind wasnt strong,so much so we suspect they tampered with the wind!!ha...and we had a hard time trying to let fly our "Smileykite". not to mention, the kite is a little damged as well. In the end, we got so frustrated..we decided to call it a day!

Disappointing...but we went to visit the gallery for some National education and the aircon!!ha. Where we met the Hawaiin kids!!ha...

Lunch was at Chef Daniel's Kitchen(Iluma), glad we made a reservation..so din hafta wait. it was $10.50 for a soup, maincourse and dessert! Zl wanted her dessert first, but the waitress din forgot the moment she left...and our mains came be4 our soup!!Quite bad service considering they werent even full...but at least the food was not bad...and i had steak at 10.50!!Guess it wldn't be too bad for class gatherings!
