Tuesday, August 28, 20079 Games and 6 clean sheets..that would have been something to celebrate.....but it wasnt enough...Had an entire day of soccer with the guys..it was SMU'S Prof Cup!! We had a good start with Mike becoming the unlikely scorer of our first goal of the day with a great shot...the following games prove to be rather easy as we strike off our opponents with good team plays and accurate shots...soon enough we were cruising into the semis... Which was where we met the strongest team thus far, as we struggled to keep pace with their quick play...it was only soon enough that they finally scored against us...though we put up a good fight at the later part...it wasnt enough as they scored another...sad, but we all thought they were slightly better than us...and i always think its alright to lose to a better opponent!! So we were back at the all familiar 3rd and 4th placing match which we were rather confident of... Sad to say we didnt play well for the last match, our defence was everywhere..i was getting shots all the time..and it didnt take long before we were sent packing with our empty hands!!haha...so sad..4th placing no prize! Well, we were all disappointed..curz we noe we are better than that..but now we know our weakness...and thats the lack of mental and physical stamina...and that (i believe ) cost us our 3rd place...but it wasnt a bad performance overall, we showed what we can do...and further prove that we're not just a bunch of losers who hide ourselves in some neighbourhood courts playing sunday soccer...haha...and i had a good game as well...so yea, thanks for the exciting tournament guys! 6:43 PMThursday, August 23, 2007Woo..wat a day for me today, lets juz call it a DAY OF COinCidenCE!!Had a pretty long day of lecture with the Forensic Sci lect being the highlight...we had a real-life Pathologist(meanin he opens up dead body frm day to day!!) to come and talk about his job scope and experiences...apart from interesting insights on what he actually does his slides also included a gruelling list of photos of his subjects!!it was still pretty alright for me at first, but as the photos kept comin i started developing a headache.haha..it was pure gross.. Incident1---After lessons i went over to Tuition @ JE, only to meet Detz @ the mrt station!!! And he was going to tuition as well..at the same place..haha...we had a nice chat on the way... Right after tuition i rushed back to school for an interview...curz im planning to run for Impresario committee...yea,decided to give it a shot and also since i have lotsa friends in there... Incident2----to my utter surprise Jean was going to run for impre main comm as well..both of us hadnt even talk about itbefore..haha...was pretty shock at the pure coincidence... Incident3--- so when i finally went for the interview..guess who i saw!!?marVin!!haha...he's gonna run for Impre as well...same post as me somemore..haha, and since we were both having empty stomachs , we had dinner together.haha..rather rare huh..juz the 2 of us.hehe...but it wasnt bad at all...especially since ive got sometime to spare b4 the interview.... Being 'born' from Sports Club i guess ive juz commited the greatest crime of being a traitor..haha..lending my support to the other major Club. And what can be worst than getting caught redhanded by Ivy at the interview area, only for me to brush it off by saying that i was meeting a friend...haha...im sry, i'll still be helping out at the events yea!!haha.. Interview was smooth, not only because the panel consist of many familiar faces...being familiar with Impre gave me pretty much confident and a piece of mind when facing their qns as well..haha..and since they interview 2 person at a time...soon enough i was left blabbering so much about Impre and having a great conversation with the panel that the other interviewee got kinda pissed off i guess(i hope not)...but when it was her turn she went lyk: ' I noe im not as experienced as .......(discreetly but obviously not enuf pts thumb at me!!ha)....' I thot i left a pretty good impression to the panel, hopefully i'll get the job...though it wld mean a much busier school life..haha..but im sure it'll be fruitful..!!:p 12:07 AMTuesday, August 21, 2007Oh just did i realise how much ive neglected my blog..ha!!But the recent hype about Facebook has got me all excited as well, which probably explains my absents from Blogger!!haha..ive been really intrigue by the FANTASY STOCK EXCHANGE!!haha..dont u just love money-making games!!im crazy over them.. Lotsa things all starting to fill up my initially pretty free schedule, from my debut tuition kid to the up-n-coming Soccer Comp with the guys to my school projects..haha, seems rather fulfilling huh...well its gd, i guess..at least it'll be a good reason for me to spend less time playing games..haha..talking abt Uni life, since the guys started Uni they've been really excited and looking forward to it..juz as i did last year. Really reminds me of all the hype n anticipation i had the same time last year... Caught   Bourne Ultimatum with Javin last week!! Didnt actually watched the previous film so i was pretty worried i wldnt be able to catch the story. But hey, understanding was a breeze and the action was great...with great scenes from around Europe. My fav were the endless sabotaging by Matt Damon on the ever so dumb secret agent!haha...it may seem highly impossible how he manage to escape so often, but who cares..haha!! u shld catch it too..9:55 PMSunday, August 12, 2007And so it was a rather successful " Try to Score Past Eugene Day"...haha, with me conceding a wonderful power shot by 'drogba'! It was the only goal i conceded, though it could be due to the fact that i was on the stronger team most of the time...Ryan-u missed out on soccer again, we do need some training b4 the competition right?haha...hope ure doing fine now....Played Tennis with Huili yest!!..ha, it was kinda rare to see the 2 of us meeting up..haha..but thanks to Tennis. I was pretty impressed with her technique and stamina, which may just put many guys to shame.(haha!)We had a fair share of rallies and once again i picked up some tips on my backhand which is just pure lousy..haha... The tennis was good, but it also left me with an aching waist thanks to all the backhand practices...not to mention huili's injured hand as well..haha..but its minor i guess...hopefully we'll play again soon..haha.. 7:42 PMThursday, August 09, 2007  Caught Rush Hour3 over @ VIVo GV today!! It was a speciall screening that Danny's aunt's company had for their clients....and lucky enough we(dET3) were able to get the left over tickets!!! Had dinner at HK KIM GARY restaurant, we all had baked rice set meals....which was rather special curz i always thot baked rice is something rather western...but they actually serve it in a dim sum basket!!haha...interesting huh?!!...we were rather full after dinner but still had free popcorn and drinks at GV..woo....time to go for a good workout!!hahaha So RH3 is really funnie, at first it may seem that Jackie Chan and the 'BLACK guy'(dunoe his name haa) were trying rather hard to make us laugh as much racist jokes were made continuously..haha..but as the action came one after another...it turns out to be pretty enjoyable!! Couldnt stop laughing towards the end...quite an ending too...hahah... been Missing out on a few outings with the guys already...got lotsa school stuff to settle. Should meet u all soon man!! Anyway, its yr2 for me already, starting to feel the stress and much more advanced stuffs being taught are really quite hard....1st week only!!darn...Gota work hard...cya 12:41 AMThursday, August 02, 2007 Check out this new shirt that i bought@ Iggi's over @ bugis street today...Iggi's is a stall which has expand to another 2 outlets with the next one opening @ Heerens. It was opened by one of my PC during army-Ignatius-which explains the name and my support here.haha..I didnt exactly rem where the shop was, but this shirt caught my eye while i was browsing...and then i realise its Iggi's..had a short chat with him and got the shirt...nice huh, i like the playful use of colours..haha..cool!! Was suppose to meet up with yihshy today for tea. We were suppose to go to this rather cool Hong kong Cafe called Tong Shui Cafe @ Bugis...but in the end didnt go curz we were still quite full from lunch with her sis...so we ended up shopping around Bugis, which wasnt too bad for me since i havent shopped for quite awhile already...found a shop inside Bugis Junction that sells really nice tees, forgot its name though..ha, check it out again next time..hehe..anyone noe??
