The Ex*ms are nearing...and thats not a good thing. Soccer have since stopped much to my unwillingness and everyday's is either the school or the library. It gets at me sometimes, when i spend the whole day at 1 place studying...i'll get to a point where nothing's going in and i feel all uncomfortable sitting down.

Had an interview session with my prof this week when we handed in our project. And im not sure if he's having a bad day or wat, but right at the moment my group mates and i sat down i knew this was not going to be a good day. He scrutinized our report, and commented about our poor drawings...ok i admit its not the best drawing we can give but thats not all. He qns our design, and tested us on the details which of course we couldnt rem. And darn me, who was tasked to do the report write ups did not have a clue to all the calculations he was more interested in...the qns kept coming and i had none answers for him. Although eventually he did explain his reason for interview and told us thats how professional engineers are questioned in an interview...it did made me realise again that hell ive spent the last 3 yrs doing something i dont really enjoy doing....of curz its not a surprise to me, but this time round the feeling is so much stronger. Sitting there and being cornered, feeling like my physics and engineering knowledge was as good as a sec4 student didnt make my day for sure...

Yea, i expected all this dreading right from the start...and i guess most of us dont end up studying what you really like becoz life's practicality and passion's do not usually go hand in hand i guess...

zoo!!
Last sat, dear zhi and i went to the zoo!!...Breakfast at KFC for a start was great, and the zoo sure is a happy place to perk us up in the midst of slogging for school!! go back soon!!!=)

I also tried to make Tau Suan(that green bean dessert) at home, thanks to some recipe and short briefing from dear zhi...but i was too clever for myself, in the end spoiling the concotion and only my mom said it was nice when i brought it to my family gathering. Considering my mom would praise me even when i cook maccaroni in soup...i guess thats not an accurate review. Haha...i'll try again tho, better the next time.
kk.mug hard everyone, theres only this much muggin we can do before we cant...

***Happy 3 mths miss 's'!! Cant go out today, but we'll leave it til after exams ya....in the mean time, dont let stress get the better of u, jiayou...and smilez!***miss ya
Happy!! Finally we brought Handsome Happy out last sat!! Even tho it was only a short short outing(too much darn work to do!!!)but i enjoyed it alot, prob as much as Happy did.haha...as dear zhi and i celebrated our happy 3rd mth early!!!=)
We went to a dog cafe, Urban Pooch at Balestier....they serve food for the doggie and humans as well, though the standard is not really high, but i guess it'll get u by considering half the time we were just looking at Happy enjoying himself...haha...there were quite a few dogs there, we saw a small lil toy poodle and that nippon paint dog!!! Happy was really scared and nervous when he first reached(act...i would too, if my mom brought me to a cafe with ppl ard looking 3-4 times bigger than me!!ha), and dear zhi and i had to take turns carrying him..
we all had chicken for that day, Sherpard chicken pie for Happy, Terriyaki chicken for zl and black pepper chicken for me!!haha...
a tiramisu and dark choc souffle from Sweet Secret to top the night off....a short trip but one that i gotta know Happy much better...i enjoyed it alot, really...

Went to relieve Det's tuition class yest....to be honest i was quite worried and nervous about it initially really. of course ive had experience with tuition before, but holding a class is certainly another level totally. So i asked and asked, and read up on the topic that i was suppose to teach....'Fungi and organism'. Det told me not to mis-read it as 'ORGASM', Haha...
The class was fine except for them talking non-stop and i trying to control them the whole time, i guess i enjoy interacting with kids and getting amused by how easy it is to make them laugh....but its not all that easy as i was like making a 2 hr long presentation, on my own...having to ensure that the class has a flow and they have something to do throughout the time. Still i think pri school tuition is a fun way to earn money, stress level is low(becoz often they dun even know if ure right or wrong!!haha..okok, im not tt bad) and you get funny episodes every now and then, like the boy who counted how many times his classmates said the 'F' word and the girl who said that i made her dizzy when i walk around the class...haha.so yea, hopefully i'll be back for more....
The kids are funny and so happy, sometimes it seems they are the ones giving me a mood-lifting lesson instead...often we are too caught up with working life, that we forget about the simplest form of happiness around us...

School life's been rather packed lately and everyone's complaining about workloads and deadline...and im guilty of that too. Worry worry, shag shag...but we still have to push on. I guess you'd rather be worrying about homework now then worrying about your meals in the future...yea,facts of life, so dont bother changing it. Life's not so tough if you magnify the good stuff and minimise the bad ones...smilez....like a child:)

Made '团' today!!! My favourite breakfast back in shanghai....still remember the first time dear zhi bought it for me...the utter size and outrageous amount of (not just rice but) glutinuous rice made me wonder who in the hungry world can eat soo much rice...ha, but it sure didnt take me long before i became a fan of it.
It all started with a trip to NTUC xtra @ JP at midnight yesterday....where we got the ingredients, and got excited about shoppping in a supermarket in the wee hours!!haha...700am(yes!!haha..ive become pretty much an early bird nowadays huh!!) the next morning, we started making the rice rolls...we didnt cook enough rice, but still manage to make one for each of our famly and one for zl's bestest gf yanxin whom she wanted to surprise her on her way to school!! Inside the roll, was crispy youtiao, seasoned cheena veggy and pork floss...it was delicious and according to zl 95% similar to the ones in china!!haha....the place is different, and im not eating it while slacking at the start of work...but it yea it tastes the same and as good.
zl got yanxin her favourite sesame soya milk too...and we passed it to her on her parent's car...haha, hopefully it brought her good luck for her test and not a bad case of diarrhea!haha...
Making breakfast was fun, and i learnt how to roll a sushi(did i??ha)....but i guess a piece of shanghai to feel nostalgic about was what we were after....and we made it=))

This week feels like a rather long one....
but i got a delicious pancake with maple syrup during the week for breakfast!!!yea...ive always wanted to make pancakes at home but never got down to it...ha. dear zhi made them for me before we went school and even got her clothes all dirty...hee, thanx dear. i love the pancakes!!! We'll make special flavoured ones tgt soon...=)
this weekend was a busy one...
Sat was the RHB NTU 5-a side soccer competition with ah goh and jIn's friends, playing with people i dont know sure makes soccer half as fun as it would if i played with the guys...but we had a really good indian player in our team and with his solo efforts and my lucky goal we made it to the knock out round on sunday!! A part of me was secretly wishing we didnt get through to the next round coz travelling to orchard to play soccer was certainly quite a chore for me...and i would miss sunday soccer with the guys. With such reluctancy, i wasnt surprise our team didnt make it far on sunday...haha...but yea, at least its my first time playing up-field in a competition!!haha..after all these years...

In between soccer, it was....duh....mugging. Its becoming a habit, a good one i hope...but at least im coping. Nows the time for dilemmas, coz i hope i'll get over the sem real quick as its been alot of studying already....and yet, i want more time before the exams!!haha....

The third for LOVE... And the fourth for LUCK!

The 4 Leaf clover is a symbol for luck and is rare. Lets hope i get to find one in my life-time...
