Went to get the tix @ Cathay before i met her...tht was where i realise its act quite a deserted place..not alot of shops and stuff...curz i thought its quite a bustling area...haven realli been there since it reopen..ha.. Well, i met Gabriel there, haha..he said he's meeting some of his colleagues doing some insurance thing..and when the colleagues came..guess wat, Corrine was 1 of them!! Ha, seriously, what a small world..she looks her usual confident self which is great..act prefer the not-so-thin her!ha... After meeting Jean, we dropped by tammy n jol's work place again..where jean tried her hands @ the grab-all-u-can box..haha..she was rather hesitant @first but went in after all!! And she was da*n lucky la, came out with 100+ dollars worth of cash vouchers!!urggghh...i got only 4 dollars tht day!!ha... After tht we went to Wisma to get her dress...thts where i gotta see how determine girls can get when they set their sight on something they like, haha..@ 1st she cldnt find it, so she was like rather sad...but we act found it on another rack,and it was on sale somemore,but no size!!haha..so she got the staff to check other branches but to no avail...well luckily the other size wasnt too much diff...so she left wisma a happy girl!!haha Wanted to go look for LyDia but by the time she replied me i was @ PS alr...arggh..next time (again!!)k..haha.. So we head down to Cathay where jean intro-ed me to some 'GongFu MiLK tEA'!!!Hahaha..the name is like...what the hell..ahha..but i din try curz i dont take milk..or milk related stuff.haha..200pounds beauty was nice...love the songs and the new HaNa..hehe, pretty huh!! Dinner waS @ Thai express where we recommended each other diff dishes to try, haha...Jean tried the Soft-shell curry crab which the super-blur-trainee-waiter conveniently thought was some fried-curry-chicken..ahah...and he didnt realise until i told him la..haha..it was quite comical, i had Green-curry chicken which wasnt bad as well!! Had Fun!!!Cya Soon... 10:42 PMSaturday, May 19, 2007...and the night didnt just end there... much as i was really tired and super lazy already, i managed to convince myself to go for a super last min chill out session with some of the S19 people...we were suppose to meet @ 9pm la, i reached @ 940 thinking that i was super late only to realise i was 2nd to reach!!!urgh...girls!!!!..haha  We went to LIquid Kitchen @ the Bukit timah area, it was my first time there and it wasnt bad at all i must say..nice music, cosy environment and not alot of people..which is good!!! @ first the girls were still shy and not-warmed up i guess, as they all didnt wanted to drink...so we were quite gay, they ordered Earl grey while i had iced Mocha(my all time fav!!)...it wasnt until we borrowed playing cards from the counter that the girls started to get high...Peggan showing us how she has changed-telling us about her MOS experience and introducing us to a 'Drinking game' etc..haha....so we ordered Beer for each of us and played some game...quite lame but well, we've Got nothing better to do..hehe wE played the Jacky Wu game where we each wrote things not-to-be-done for each other and then try to get them to fall into the trap..yea, pretty crappy..we were all quite lousy setting the trap, especially Gay who kept coming up with the dumbest traps..haha..kkk, shant be bad...nice try k..haha...   Thanx to miss Neo!!!who spilled the drink and broke the bottle...i had to leave the place looking like i pee-ed in my pants!!!ARRRGGGHH...shes got to be drunk la...haha...wat a way to end the day..... 2:01 AMToday has to be the most busy day i had since the start of my hols and my unemployed days...met MIke for our job-hunting session(which he conveniently overslept and was late!!!), we went quite a few places from Sim Lim to Aljunied to Dhoby Ghaut(which turn out to be a bogus company!!)...we had 2 interviews which were rather sloppy and were more like casual chit-chat session!!! and the pay is downright miserly la!! Mike suggested having Unagi(his new craze)@ TAKA, so we headed down....it was there that we pop by jamie's work place to say HI...she was funnie, mayb curz we never really saw her so serious before!!!(it muz haf been weird for her...seeing the both of us..haha...if u noe wat i mean!!) I also went to look for Joleyn and Tammy @ the OSIM Fest where there worked and where they got me to go into their grab-all-u-can box!!haha...its the 1st time i ever tried this..it felt, WEIRD!Haha...tk a look>>>>>  yea...looks lyk im praying to some diety or something...hehe.. oh well, the rest of the day was spent shopping around orchard...went to TaNGS where Mike enticed me to buy a G-Star jeans which cost a whopping $260 la...i prob even wont spend that kind of money on jeans even if i strike 4D(as much as i agree and know that its the quality that im paying for..) .....TO BE CONTINUED.... 1:39 AMWednesday, May 16, 2007tagged by *Peggan.......Rules of the game: Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. Im a few days into my part-time job now, and the conclusion is being a surveyor still sux especially when u get a difficult survey!! But it did showed me anything in life, which is how helpful my close friends and especially my family when it comes to times of needs. Brought some of the surveys to my grandma's place last sunday, initially i thought i'd juz try my luck asking some of them hopefully they wont be too skeptical about it...nothing of that sorts happened, my uncle gladly helped me and asked me to bring more for everyone to do...and one by one they all helped out, even before i told em about the free coupons...yea, its prob nothing major, but the immediate support i got really made me more sure that ive got a really supportive family which to me is really important! Well, lyk i said earlier, many friends(jean, cerise, ryan, marv....) offered their help as well even before me asking, i do appreciate it lots...:)
5:05 PMi'd wanted to blog for a few days already but apparently there were some problems with the web... Had soccer on sunday, looked forward to it as our opponents are said to be much stronger-which means, for me as a keeper, a realli busy day in between the poles!!I love challenges, but hate defeat...ha.. It didnt turn out to be a good game for me. Our team was pinned back, defending most of the time, and to make things worst..i was lacking in confidence playing field keeper so badly that i made a number of blunders which caused 2 goals(or more!!)...during the halftime break i thought i could do better for the 2nd half but nothings changed...in the end we packed our bags with 5 goals against us!! One of the worst matches ive had so far!!In FM terms, my morale was prob 3 or 4!! bAD aS it is, i guess i'll hafta pick myself up and gain more experience in order to do better...guess the team has got pretty high expectations of me, i'll work harder!!ha
The inital idea was to take some formal passport photos. And hell was it an initimidating experience for me as MIke's idea of taking photos is like poking the camara right in front of ya face..ahah..and not forgetting there's still 2 lighting-man who has to hold on to DIY polarized lamps inches from your face as well..haha...it was a funnie experience..But through experimentation, we manage to take some portraits which were pretty cool...haha, i bet none of you has seen me wearing a hat ar..haha..i havent myself too..here r some..  Had lotsa fun, guess the few of us really enjoying our unemployed days doing the most interesting things we can think of..ha, wats next? 3:45 PMFriday, May 11, 2007Recently, i think ive been playing too much games.spending too much time on my laptop doing all the "wrong" stuffs haha...looking @ mike's and ryan's entries...im ashamed of my short and shallow one...haha..so ive been trying to cut down on games and spend more time on more fulfilling things in life like exercising and....getting myself a job.The day after Zouk, Marvin rang me up and told me he's hooked me up with a surveyor job...actually ive never realli liked being a surveyor curz i hate them myself...haha..well mayb hate is over-rated! But mayb i was still having a hangover plus i had wanted a job(something to keep me occupied)...so i took it up. Was still looking forward to it(since my previous of getting a job was a successful and fulfilling 1 @ UOB) until i went to the office to get the forms and have a briefing...first person i met was one the guys that i din really like in school..haha, he's one of the full-time nerds around and guess whats he was talking about with another guy when i saw him...our exams!!(gif me a break will ya)...nothing improved the circumstances afterwards as we were all made to wait for about 2 hrs before the i/c came to brief us..during the briefing, things were not standardized and it wasnt really professional. Seriously, the visit to the office was quite a disappointment. And the survey, its one hell of it...super duper tuper fuper luper long..haha.. When it all finally ended, i thought i wld juz tk a direct bus hm instead of taking the train since it i had to change bus...but to tk the direct bus, i had to walk quite a dist, but it turned out it was moooooreee than "quite a dist"...urgh...and the bus ride was even longer...(urgh x 10!!)screw myself!! Sounds very much like i had a pretty bad day,haha, i guess i did...but didnt quite feel it curz all the time i was busy worrying and fguring out how should i approach people/start making my skin grow thicker haha..it was what i want actually, a new challenge a new aspect of work life that i want to experience...well, hopefully it all turns out well, as far as now, ive already contemplated getting all my family members to lend me a hand..haha..cheating?nah, thats life!!haha anyone interested?u get a free booklet of parking coupon worth 10 bucks..ahha 11:51 PMThursday, May 10, 2007Clubbing is bad for health, apart from taking in all the smoke; i woke up the next day thinking tht the crickets were exceptionally loud only to realise that my ears were still ringing frm the loud musics.yea,..it hurts!! Went to Zouk last night with the guys n geri, its been a long time since i went...and was looking forward to it. We reached pretty early so we decided head down to the nearby coffee shop for a drink first...thats where we met loads of ppl frm mike's army friend to my exclassmate(yifeng).And thanx to my empty stomach, i got pretty high after downing the beers and vodka.. Mike and i left rather early as the kick kinda faded after awhile..guess we're not so much of a clubber after all!!But it wasnt too bad an experience...
5:40 PMWednesday, May 02, 2007Woohoo...apologies for my short absence from blogging, but Exams are finally over and hell am i glad about it.The past weeks have been gruelling and almost terrible i must say, haha..it wasnt up til the end of it that i realised ive not been out for the entire 2mths..crazy..Well days are not empty without school as i immediately had to prepare for a mini-performance at habourfront with Altitude..ha, the entire thing was just crap as we practiced for merely 5hrs i think and thanx to my wrong info...we even reported to the wrong place for the performance..seriously it was quite a bad event totally. Mike's back and we're back to our full force..though not all came for soccer(James!!!where were u??)but it was fun, and satisfying..especially since it was my first time playing soccer since 2 mths..made sure i had a gd run..haha Well i also whipped up a nice meal for my family on Labour's dAY, not that we're celebrating it but i juz felt like cooking..haha..No it wasnt juz fried egg and white rice..haha..im gd k..Cooking is like a mini hobby for me(yea, kinda weird for a guy...but mayb im juz inspired by my grandma who cooks perfect home-cooked food!!trust me, she even does sharks' fin @ hm..yea!!)plus..there're quite a few really gd cooks in my extended family(sadly my parents are not 1 of em..haha)so mayb u can say it runs in the family!!hehe..
