Sunday, August 31, 2008 Sunday SOccer is a tradition never to be changed, only to be passed on!!haha...guys, sunday soccer has gone global!haha...with much luck and convincing to do, i manage to bring together 12 fine man to have our very first Sunday Soccer!!!haha...bought new boots for it too...R10 Tiempo!!yea, pure bliss...Over the previous weekend, it was a trip to the Shanghai wild Animal park(previously famous for its tiget mauling a keeper to death)haha..went with tiong,goh and ZL +her house mates....we were lucky for a rather good weather here are the animals....most interesting i saw was perhaps the Camel race, dog race, ostrich race...apart frm that, it was well...animals..ha..nothing too special..oh perhaps the PanDA!!which was realy cute and lazy!!guess Kungfu Panda was a rather accurate depiction....  Having had extra salt and extra oil in all my food since ive touched down Shanghai, i suggested we had a picnic at the Safari. So i prepared some egg mayo, ham n tuna and salad for some sub-way like sandwich...ZL's side bought sushi for us...so yea, we had a rather satisfying meal,shiok!!  Ok, after 1 mth plus frm home...much as ive settled down into my new life...it makes me really really excited to be doing or seeing things that i do in singapore!!Soccer has to be one, but ive also found Yun Tun noodles, and soya bean curd(my sg fav for breakfast!!)....feels good to have a piece of home!!haha...like how we met another singaporean while eating roadside bbq!haha.. And of cuz i miss my family and friends!!! Heard some gd and bad news from the guys...haha, u noe who u are...and i heard sunday soccer hasnt been doin well huh!!haha...better buck up, ive been trainin here...becareful i might surpass u all!haha....even winning i also got train can!!haha... But i havent been idling...started my work at Venture Electronics Shanghai!! Works been interesting, working style can be quite different from singapore...but the people are friendly and nice to us interns. Ive been trying to organise the legendary sunday soccer, trying my best to keep in touch with soccer....haha, but its been hard luck thus far..and in the mean time, i travelled with my colleagues also from NTU... We went Zhou Zhuang, according to the Chinese Govt it is an AAAAA scenic area.(As if 1 A isnt enough)...haha..but yea, its a very nice town in deed...very much look like its living in its own world...apart from the stalls that we'll see every now and then selling this from silk blanket to pirated mont blanc pens to magic trick cards(which i bought and feel rather conned)haha...   Today is Tiong Lee's bdae!!! We bought him a reali nice Adidas Jacket, that suits him to the max...bought him his mango cake(that his gf from singapore made sure i got) and brought him to a brazil buffet which we paid (18 sgd)..haha..shiok.... This time round in shanghai, i met quite a few people as well.
